Weekly Update

We began the week with a Professional Learning Day, where teachers focused on progress monitoring, vocabulary development, identifying student needs, and intentional planning with support from our online platforms. We celebrated National School Counseling Week by honoring our counselors, Ms. Ramirez and Mrs. Adair, and applauded our students who participated in the STAAR Field Test for their effort and grit. We also successfully completed our monthly fire and hold drill and enjoyed seeing strong learning across campus—both in classrooms and through teachers learning from one another.

Don't forget to check out our Campus Facebook Page for pictures of all the fun things happening on campus!

Attendance Update

Winter Attendance Matters

As we move through the winter months, we know cold weather and seasonal illnesses can make mornings tougher. When students are healthy, being at school every day and on time makes a big difference. Consistent attendance helps students stay engaged in learning, build strong routines, and make steady academic progress. Research shows that students who attend school regularly are more likely to succeed academically and feel connected to their school community.

Attendance also plays an important role in our school’s accountability with the Texas Education Agency (TEA). Every day counts toward funding and accountability measures that support our students, teachers, and programs. Thank you for partnering with us to make attendance a priority—your commitment helps set our students up for success!

This week’s Learning to Lead focus is Skilled Collaborator: Shared Vision!
Great teams don’t just have great ideas — they have one clear goal they believe in together. When everyone is pulling in the same direction, amazing things happen.

A shared vision means listening, combining ideas, and making decisions as a team. It means being flexible, supporting each other, and taking pride in what you create together.

When you help turn many ideas into one shared goal, you’re showing leadership, teamwork, and respect. Let’s collaborate, stay focused, and lead together today!
