We had a busy and meaningful week at campus! Our teachers spent two professional development days learning new strategies to support student growth, and they are already bringing those ideas back into the classroom.

Somr of our iReady goal-getters were celebrated this week as several classes met their growth challenges and earned fun prizes. We love seeing our students encourage one another and stay motivated!

We also continued our family support programs, including our Brighter Bites distribution. Remember, we also host our Weekly Food Pantry every Thursday after school for families who may need it.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first PTO meeting! If you were unable to attend, the information has been shared so you can stay connected.

And finally, our Big Kahuna Fundraiser kicks off this week! Be on the lookout for packets coming home. Your support helps keep great opportunities and experiences happening on our campus.

As we prepare to take time off from school (Nov 24-28) for the Thanksgiving break, we want to share our gratitude for everyone in our school community. Your partnership makes it possible for students to come to school every day, on time and ready to learn.

Every day of school is an important opportunity for students to connect with peers and teachers, and to grow personally, socially and academically.

We are thankful for:

·Our students and their families who show up to school regularly, even when it isn’t easy.

·Our staff who go above and beyond to help make school a welcoming learning environment and help us stay safe, connected and excited about learning.

·Our many healers and helpers from support staff and volunteers who provide the extra hands and attention our students need.

We appreciate each one of you. If your family or your child needs support, please reach out to one of our counselors, Ms. Ramirez & Mrs. Adair.

We are grateful for everyone’s efforts to avoid taking extra days off during this holiday season.

We look forward to seeing you again when school resumes on December 1.
